New Covenant works with entrepreneurs like Debra Lewis, owner of Bringing the Children Home Daycare. In just a few months of work with her business coach, Ms. Lewis secured two small grants, opened a business bank account, and reached full enrollment by amping up her online presence.
For nearly 60 years, Del-Kar Pharmacy Inc, a small drugstore, has survived by building deep roots in the community, selling medicine, food and other essentials in a neighborhood largely ignored by the large drugstore and grocery chains.
